CES 2013 “Unveiled” unveiled some interesting features.

Sensor technology now has come in the market. The device price has declined so that lots ideas could apply in real. Some try to sensor the air quality while some try the weather conditions.

With scattering sensor devices, data in the real life will be collected automatically, edited and digested as information to us. This “analog - digital – analog” flow brings us another wisdom of crowd. Internet has been the place where the crowd intelligence. Now, small sensor devices enable us to enhance the terriotory for that.

Netatmo personal weather station

A French company, Netatmo, build the social weather data colletction networks. They collect the air quality and weather information at your place with the sensor device. You can check the data on iPhone and Android devices.

The air quality or weather information data could be mapped to share in the social media as the social heat map or even pollution map.

Commoditized technologies are scattered. FON used to give away WiFi routers free of charge. Now, sensors has begun to follow.
This scattered echo system with application is the next big thing.

French tech couple develops a housewife friendly phone kit. Founder happened to the idea that the wife with newborn baby couldn’t physically pick up the phone especially during preparing foods. So, they develop the phone with 360 degree surround speaker. They are now on “kickstarter"
